Welcome to Richmond Ravers Netball Club
Richmond Ravers Netball Club was formed in 2006 and is now in its 16th season coaching netball to girls aged 8-18+. We’re one of Surrey’s leading junior netball clubs with more than 200 members enthusiastically playing netball each week.
Head coach, Julie Laidler, and her coaching team share a passion for promoting netball from an early age and helping young netball players to develop the skills and experience to maximise their netball potential. Many club members play at Satellite or County level and remain in the sport long into their teenage years.
This year Richmond Ravers are excited to announce their expansion to include a Senior section (16+) which will enable to girls to continue competitive play in preparation for joining University/College teams and onwards.
Our successes
Richmond Ravers compete successfully in local and regional competitions across all age groups. Our teams were top of many of the leagues that they competed in before the 2019/20 league was suspended. Over the years, the girls regularly won the Surrey End of Season tournament across all age groups. Our older girls (U16s) were unbeaten in the Surrey league for two years running and the younger girls have a 15 year unbeaten track record at Hi5 in the Nonsuch Junior Netball league.
Joining the junior club
Richmond Ravers is proud to be one of London’s most successful junior netball clubs. We’re equally proud of our “open house” policy. Rather than trial new members we rely on our impeccable coaching and encouragement to guide our members to attain their true potential.
